Skirts over pants. Yes or No? (1 Viewer)

Well... I have often heard some people say that skirts over pants doesn't look good together.
But I'm currently wearing a black skirt over black skinny jeans. (no one has said anything to me btw)

I guess it might depend on if the skirt matches the pants or something. (also if the skirt and pants match the rest of the outfit)
and the reason why I matched the black skirt with the black skinny jeans, is because I thought it would match better than if I was wearing blue wide jeans underneath.

Usually I wear leggings under my skirt. (well... I don't like showing my bare legs)

I think it's fine as long as the outfit makes sense. Like, if you're wearing cargo pants under a tennis skirt I'll be concerned but black skinny jeans can look like leggings.
