It sounds like it from the statement but there are still a lot of people on the books at SM. It was either Tao or Luhan that was still officially on the books, so you can go build a career separate from SM and still be paying SM. China and Korea won't be options for him, but he does still have a robust international fanbase so maybe he works in Thailand or Indonesia?

I agree that it's odd they don't say he's out of SuperM, but I still think that's pretty risky to keep him in for the potential knock on effect to the other artists, esp Mark and collateral damage to the moneymakers 127 and Dream. With Kai's enlistment moved up, SuperM is probably even more on ice than it was.

Last i noticed, keep running china 2023 season had/dint hv lucas in it(i only cared tat Yuqi was in but im way behind on this show)

I think at least its finally come to a decision on whether he's in or out, it was frustating reading abt him in the ambiguity of it all.i think nct n wayv r probably better off now its decided.

Involuntary leaving is sensitive for me so im not commenting further rn.

The only thing that confuses me, is he still a part of Super M cause it only says he left NCT and WayV? …I hope not.

I`m guessing he is doing solo work from now on as he didnt terminate his contract (as far as I understood).
I wish him luck.
I dont really understand why ppl hate him so much, its not like he committed a crime.

the “your biases are probably just as bad” argument confuses me. Sure, they might also be like Lucas, but unlike them we have more or less implied proof that he sucks. With them there’s no proof that they’re also dicks. So you can decide that everyone’s terrible for no reason, or you can wait to pass judgement when there’s signs or proof that they’re that bad. The second makes much more sense to me, and I completely understand why people wouldn’t want to support him, and by extension normalize and practically approve of cheating by minimizing it. Anyways, if my biases were in his place I’d drop them too if it seemed more likely or not that it’s true. Besides, being legal doesn’t at all mean that it’s an okay thing to do. A different thing, for example declawing cats, would also earn a person a spot on the shit list for me even if it’s not against the law and it’s a part of their “private life”.

Ngl I’m getting the impression SM doesn’t care about SuperM all that much anymore so they probably just didn’t think it was worthy of mention.
