Well, JYP is doing that survival show with PSY later this year and they're accepting instrumentalists which to me means that he's looking for his next band as opposed to a dance group...

I don't think I heard about it but now it just seems like the final nail in the coffin

Nothing JYP does surprises me anymore. Day6 deserves much better treatment than what they are currently getting. People wonder why Jae complains on Twitter and stuff all the time, I mean can you blame him? Also wouldn't surprise me if None of Day6 resigns their contracts when the time comes

Has anyone noticed how JYP is the only company out of the big three that legitimately can't keep his artist around for very extended periods of time, Ex: Got7, MissA, Wonder Girls. While YG with only 2ne1 and we all know SM doesn't disband their groups. ( I don't count fx because they pretty much all left sm so.....) SM still has S.E.S and they are 1st gen idols debuted in the '90s, even though they are not active. My point goes to say that JYP is way shittier at managing groups than YG and SM which is why they have had more groups disband under them.

Twice's contract is up next year and the kids of them renewing are low.
Itzy is doing decently and Stray Kids is growing but that leaves JYPE without all of their major breadwinners and "cash cows".

If they don't change even after that, they're dumber than YG

Yeah, I have heard a bunch of rumors from onces on Twitter saying some of them most likely will not resign and they kept saying that Chaeyoung might be one of the girls that doesn't resign. However, I took this with a grain of salt. I think the issue with Twice is that JYP is trying everything in his power for them not to end up like MissA, that they barely get any solo activities. They are more recognized as a group than individually. Jihyo has said multiple times that they work better as a team but I feel that they say that only because JYP is forcing that " one team" image on them. I'm pretty sure they do want solo activities but JYP is controlling them from having any so.....

Jae has been collabing with rnb artists and said that he wants to get into doing rnb and hip hop more. Jay has also complimented his solo project and signed JB after he left JYP. So I wouldn't even be surprised if he or whole band got signed

Same, both Jay and Jae are fairly active on twitter too, so it wouldn't surprise me if they've already exchanged phone numbers/emails.

I 100% agree what with you are saying. I think that also the j-line except momo will not resign. Maybe Tzuyu, she has a lot of potentials to be successful in Taiwan and China

Originally I was gonna say the GGs seem to be treated better, but history indicates (w/ soloists like Jimin/Jamie at least) that they just may not be as vocal with any creative differences/headbutting/suppression/however you want to classify it.

I don't think most idols are vocal even when they are frustrated. But there is lot of idols frustrated with JYPE and vocally so. It really doesn't seem like they are good for solo promotions at all and management for groups seem to be lacking too.

I have seen video of Momo and Tzuyu talking how Tzuyu isn't allowed to cut her hair even if she wants to and Momo pretty much telling her that she can do what she wants and if they have issue with it they can complain to her... so doesn't seem like girls are happiest either with the management even if they aren't as straight forward voicing it..
