Nope. Everything is safe in my apartment and there is no damage.

I was sooo confused. It felt like you know when a large train goes by on an overhang passage and the nearby buildings feel it. I honestly thought it was that and then someone told me we had an earthquake.

I thought it a huge truck passing through but turns out it was an earthquake according to the news.

I thought the same way because we don’t get earthquakes so often

Supposedly they aren’t actually uncommon in the Northeast, but most of them are very small. That being said the shaking travels better in the northeast because of the kind of ground we have here, the rocks are very dense.

Well this was a stronger earthquake than usual (iirc strongest in a century or so?) and seemed to cause little damage, so the more common tiny ones are probably no issue
