dokyeom's stage name was originally going to be yongpal (the8), and mingyu was going to be dokyeom,, there's even clips of the svt members referring to mingyu as dk predebut how crazy is that

anyway im so glad dokyeom ended up being dokyeom cause there's no way i could make so many puns and cute nicknames with the8, carats rarely even call minghao the8 so i would probably be calling him seokmin instead
so many people actually dont know that dokyeom is seokmin's stage name because it fits him so well, i cant imagine him not being dokyeom
