I’m pretty sure there are laws in Korea when it comes to selling/buying/possessing fake designer goods, so if she bought them knowing they were fake and then uploaded content to make people believe they were real, I can see why people would be annoyed.

Me personally though, it’s not a big deal. A handwritten apology seems a bit excessive.

to be fair, she built her entire brand on being wealthy, having a nice house, nice clothes etc. she mightve never outright claimed its all real but the implication was obviously that it is, so its very misleading. its nothing like just wearing cheap or unbranded clothes.

its especially scummy when you consider she was paid big $$$$$'s by huge brands for insta ads, despite wearing fake dupes of said brands' products. she even posed with a fake bag for her dior endorsement so i understand why people demand a statement tbh. on top of that, she could potentially get into legal trouble for this though i doubt it will get to that

true, a big part of the influencer culture is creating an idealised and unrealistic lifestyle and image to show off to the public. i mean if someone feels hurt by an influencer living differently than her image then it's on them for getting too invested in celebrity lives
