AHHH I HAVE GOTTEN SO MANY SPOILERS. from my sister, from an ex-friend, especially when I tell them to stop.
cause what do you mean you have never watched/read demon slayer but you know who's gonna do this and that?
and... from my feed. like, I might search up a character for a profile picture and then Google fills it in with a spoiler like, idk, SOMETHING shocking

to me, it’s an asshole thing to actively spoil to someone you personally know is watching/reading up on but also for certain online circles, it gets to a point
no mel, telling you that oscar dies — a ubiquitous piece of pop culture knowledge around berubara — can hardly constitute as a spoiler in the abyss that is the internet when you had nearly 50 years to learn of the fact

UGHHHHHH I was watching You Are the Apple of my Eye (Dahyun's movie), and I foolishly looked in the comments. among the very first comments listed was "I DO NOT ACCEPT THIS ENDING!" so curious little me was expanding the thread only to find out it didn't have a happy ending. well, it does if you want a wedding, but it's not with the leading man! course, it's a kDRAMA, so what did I even expect, really? a fairytale ending???

I love Demon Slayer and got super annoyed with everyone spoiling it. Same with JJK. I'm obviously still going to watch what's left of the series (the movies I mean), but it's still annoying to know what's going to happen. It kind of ruins the excitement for it

My peeve is indirect spoilers, people think they're being slick implying things without saying them and then you can kind of deduce what happens. Even if you turn out to be wrong it ends up spoiling it because you were expecting a certain thing and if you call them on it then you are the bad guy for being too sensitive. I've asked people to just not talk about something at all and felt bad about it because I don't want to be telling people what to do but they just do it anyway so I've learned to just keep things I'm really excited about to myself until I'm done with it.
