there's this lady sitting beside us at the pool and i heard her speak to the waiters throughout the day with a perfect english, so i was convinced she was american! then my dad gets a little massage on the chair right beside her and she tells me in perfect french that she can move so she i can take a photo. let me tell you i had the shock of my life realizing we're from the same place (i can tell by the accent when she speaks french). i still can't believe it, i was so sure. it's like i can't believe there's so many people from where i'm from at an hotel in a foreign place 😭 i get surprised each time i hear a french speaker, but they are everywhere!​

lol i wish i could, but my parents are not too good at english and my sister is at a very beginner level and refuses to learn. but it's a very smart technique
