I absolutely hate free Spotify due to all the ads and the shitty quality lol, that's why I just use the Premium Spotify. Premium allows you to go into settings and set the audio quality as Very High and it sounds amazing

I've stopped spending on physical albums now lol, so I just get a yearly Spotify subscription instead since I use it so much and it's better in that case to just have the best quality available.

I don't think I'll ever give up on physical albums; not for the artists I care for the most.

As of right now, I can't afford to spend any money except if it's necessary. So I'll need to stick to either youtube or free spotify for a while longer.

I had to reuse Spotify free because my premium was over and it was shit 👀 I had to wait ten days before to be able to renew it, as a result I wasn’t listening to Spotify that much

Yeah, I can guess so. A shitty free service doesn't make *me* any more inclined to try their premium however. I'd rather look for alternatives; what people say about each of the availailable spotify competitors before going forward to try it.

free spotify on the pc/laptop is still acceptable but I agree that free spotify on mobile is one of the worst apps i've ever experienced

I agree. Premium is much better, especially with good headphones.

Yeah set the audio quality to very high, play around with the equalizer if you want, and then pair with a set of good headphones and it's perfect, it's honestly remarkable how much of a difference it makes lol.

Another thing I do is download my most frequently used playlists. So when I get on a plane or end up in some other cell dead spot I still have my high quality music.

Oh right me too lol, currently I have my 3 Kpop playlists downloaded so I can even listen in airplane mode- one is 2020 Kpop, one is 2021, so incredibly short, and the final one is the main Kpop one with all songs upto 2019, it's more than 25 hours of runtime lol.
