I need a new Berserk anime like I need Oxygen and Tzuyu.

Have you already watched the 2016 reboot in top of late 90s original anime? ^^

There is also movies, but they are pretty much recaps of the main series as far as I know..

So there's this new Netflix original anime called Backstreet Girls: Gokudolls lol. It's bizarre af and not like amazing or anything but very unique and can be hilarious in parts.

Its about 3 disgraced yakuza men who are forced to undergo gender reassignment surgery and then become JPop girl idols who perform to earn back their debt to the mob lol.

Netflix originals don't seem to appear on anime seasons, probably cause their release is bit different from regular animes, I guess they could be called ONA's (original network anime) in sense rather than tv animes. Hmh, I wonder if I should make section for Netflix stuff though that would be another thing to keep eye out ^^;

Winter 2019 season has begun, with many of the winter animes having their first eps out already or within few days. I updated the op with the new season and added poll of the them most popular animes of the season so far. Are you guys interested in anything this season? :pandawatch:

It does seem like Mob Psycho's second season will be the anime of the season. Compared to fall season this season doesn't have that many big ongoing animes and not seemingly as big adaptions as Goblin Slayer or Smile anime were, though I wonder if there will be surprisers like Zombieland saga (that I haven't still watched, but it's on my list..). Anyways quite clean table for Mob Psycho S2 to sweep and start the anime year with.

I won't probably watch that many this season since 4 of the animes I started last season continue now and there isn't that many interesting ones. However I think I'll check out Tate no Yuusha since it seems the popular fantasy anime of the season (kinda weird how most popular animes last two seasons have been isekais), Manaria friends which has quite interesting magic + school life premise and Dororo which seems pretty tragic and it's from MAPPA and I love MAPPA. I might even check out Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai for some romance. And I should really be watching Mob Psycho too, since I really like One Punch Man and I know Mob is really good.. but I haven't watched first season yet >

I think sth about this season tells how that Domestic no Kanojo ended into top 10 most popular animes of the season so far, I mean whole premise of it sounds like it's better suited to hentai. No thanks for adoptive incest.

8th ep of Mob psycho II literally killed me, my heart was just racing. I thought i could make it without spoilers for next ep, but thank god some manga reader spoiled me in comment section (not even sarcastic).

That reminded me that I still haven't made my Winter 2018 anime review/recommendation thread.. lot of good stuff this season (it's just crazy how much) so maybe i should.

The Spring season of anime is finally starting this week, many popular animes getting new season, Fruits Basket getting long-awaited remake and lot of new one's starting too. What will you be watching this season and what will you be checking out?

Not watching anything new but I'll finally start Devilman Crybaby coz I've heard good things

I'm not sure what to think of this seasons animes actually. There is One Punch Man's S2 and Fruits Baskets remake that I will be watching for sure, but for new animes I have no idea what will be good or even popular this season.

I will probably check out Kimetsu no Yaiba since it's from ufotable and should have superb animation and Fairy Gone sounded pretty interesting. Other than that I think I will wait a bit and see what people think before hopping on others.

Also, I had been reading the manga for Bungo Stray Dogs, but I fell off. Figure I can probably binge watch the anime to refresh my memory and start on S3.

Kimetsu no Yaiba seems interesting so I’ll give it a shot. I’ll give Kenja no Mago a two to three episode trial. The rest I will pass on for now, lol

Summer season has begun, most of spring seasons series have ended and couple summer series have their first eps out already so this was pretty good point to update the thread for the new season as well.

I thought of adding pics for current top 10 (most popular on MAL) series since pic tells more than thousand words right. And i changed some names to english cause at least to me it's harder to remember japanese names especially if they are long and not that distinct. And "Do You Like Your Mom? Her Normal Attack is Two Attacks at Full Power, Okaasan online" surely tells non-japanese speakers more than same thing in Japanese xd

Hopefully you find sth good to watch this season, please vote on poll too ^^
