chungha - queen came in, ended kpop, and left. seriously though, i love when she makes her music more dance-oriented because the results >>>>>
i'm ready is essentially stay tonight's sister so if you love stay tonight you'll love i'm ready. similarly algorithm reminds me of roller coaster. do give the mvs a watch - the choreo is top tier as usual (i'm ready specifically will blow your mind - because it wasn't done by lachica as a whole but by love ran and choi rian specifically - the duo who gave us stay tonight) and algorithm has some fun cameos!

solar - so she dropped an ep this year and if i'm being honest, colors is the only song i really gave a f*ck about. solar specifically wanted to incrporate voguing, and thus collaborated with house of love, south korea's largest ballroom house. and the mother of house of love (as well as the mother of voguing in south korea) happens to be... love ran again! so she choreographed this masterpiece too! anyway it's a fun, sassy, confidence pill with jaw dropping choreo, and i love solar for being an ally and uplifting queer performers w a dance style so deeply rooted in queer history

zb1 - someone else already recommended them huh? well i'll rec them too - w my fave title of theirs so far! a deviation from their dnb based sound so far, kenzie composed this absolute bop - which explains why it is so. the synths >>>>>>>> anything else in this world. also if you have the time and the inclination check their entire cinema paradise ep out, it's a no-skip for me personally

riize - now we're going from a songwriter who's given some of sm's biggest hits... to an sm bg themselves hahah. unfunny jokes aside, impossible is so good??? it's literally view's son - and that's the highest compliment i can give a song as a shawol (sn: impossible's other parent is a shinee bside which i love called shift... riize really hit the jackpot with this song)

boa - we're finishing off with mother herself!! this song. i could give it my soul. self-written, self-produced, and choreographed by a choreographer i adore (his name's root, his career so far has been insane for a 03-liner, and boa specifically asked him to choreograph for her - which he did! and we all love it!) emptiness just hits the right spot of melancholic ass-shaking which i adore, so yeah hope you like it too <3
