Wow! This is shocking! I could never see InSomnia's attacking any of the members for whatever reason.
I don't even know the guy, yet I am already feeling sorry for him.

Chan is an actual angel!

He produces all of Stray Kids's music (well 2 other members help, but he is doing all the heavy lifting) and he is also the leader.... He also does a weekly vlive where he listens to music and just talks with Stay!

I know not all of Stays are like that, just like not all of InSomnia's are angels themselves, but it can really put a toll on someone, mentally and physically and can be really dangerous.
It's like when Siyeon from Dreamcatcher had that bullying scandal where someone from her old highschool accused her of bullying her, then management said it wasn't true and that they were investigating it, then InSomnia's defended her and now the news has calm down since then.

My point is that what mistakes Chan does or will do, as long as it's not really bad, people should 100% support him and make him feel loved because being an idol is really tough.

While I fully agree that fans attacking Chan and continuing to treat him like crap is definitely out of line, the argument that they were "dutch braids" and not cornrows is nitpicking at best and it's more the intention around the style, which was to make him appear more "hip-hop", which is the problem. Evoking black culture for an image isn't the best marketing idea and fans had every right to be upset. However, that doesn't give them the right to suddenly act like he made this decision alone and purposefully, while cursing at him and demanding an apology. He shouldn't be the one apologising, his company should be stepping up and saying hey, a mistake was made, we heard you, we'll learn from it. Honestly JYP can go directly to hell for letting Chan take all the flak for their ignorant styling and continued ignorance & lack of addressing of fan response. They threw that poor boy to the wolves.

I get the self-producing thing is great but they are taking it too far with too little time. Chan is working overtime, because writing like 30 songs in a year, is so fucking much!

Other self-producing groups like Seventeen release like 2 albums a year AND they have other producers helping them (Look at this... Fucking Pledis doing something right) Stray Kids has been writing everything themselves and doing it all themselves, but JYP is having them release music at the same schedule as their other groups!

The other groups are overworked as they are! Stray Kids has even more work to do (Mainly by Chan) but still they are kept at the same schedule!

Stray Kids is like the poor step-child that has been left to fend for itself!

PS: I agree with the hair being a bad decicion... But Stay could act like any other fandom by telling the company, hey! You messed up, so please don't do it again OK!

I want to seriously just strangle those people sometimes. They are acting like antis, but have the fucking guts to call themselves fans. he cares for ours, but those "fans" don't care when Chan literally says that he has insomnia (Well with more words, but the points is the same), hwne Chan says he has anxiety, when Chan looks overworked and Stressed...

It hurts to see! I remember when the SKZ members were redistributing the rooms and one of them asked Chan if they can switch, since Chan almost never sleeps at the dorms anyway... Fuck I wanted to go hug Chan so bad and wanted to slap quite a few "fans"

i know it breaks my heart to see people do this to him....i just wish that if they weren't fans they would just leave him alone and go do something else

the fans have a right to be mad about it. both the stylist and chan should be blamed. as fans we shouldn't just blindy defend the people that we stan, a lot of stays were offended, especially because chan in the past has showed that hes well aware of different cultures and backgrounds. i myself have only seen a little bit of this scandal so i haven't exactly seen an apology but if someone could link it to me then that would be nice because ive seen a lot of people who have said that it wasn't genuine enough or that there wasn't rlly an apology at all.

People have been harassing him online and offline about it. The man looks visibly stressed out, tired and overall overworked.

a lot of fans just want to educate him on why hes wrong... many fans are mad and offended because it seemed that chan was pretty educated about different cultures and backgrounds and then he went and did this. he also still hasn't apologized, I understand if jyp isnt letting him but i dont think fans are gonna stop until they get an actual apology. I dont think that he should be getting attacked, but there are still a lot of fans who are understandably offended and just want to educate him on why hes wrong

they have? actually im not surprised. SKZ probably gained a lot of those "woke" int fans. I notice certain groups with a different image/ that have deeper lyrics tend to attract more of these fans, so they assume these groups are "socially aware"...thats my guess lol. Bc ppl seem more forgiving of Lisa and some other idols that have done this too.
