Hello! I'm sure many Stays are already aware of how much Stray Kids adores Jeongin, but I still wanted to make a thread about it anyway. The entire group loves him so much (as they should). The most obvious example that immediately came to mind is that Chan and Changbin made Jeongin a song literally called "Maknae On Top", and they even filmed a music video for it:
Since the music video unfortunately doesn't have any English translations available, here is a lyric video for those of you who are curious what the lyrics are:
When all of the members (besides Jeongin) had to choose one word to describe Jeongin, they all picked "baby". In that same clip, Seungmin (the second youngest) said that Jeongin is lovable, no matter what he does. Felix said he can't imagine Jeongin being older (i.e. not the maknae), and several members said to protect him.
When Jeongin was filming his scenes, Chan, Changbin and Hyunjin kept on doting on him: calling him brave, taking pictures of him, asking if he was okay and so on.
Jeongin went with Chan to the gym not long ago, and Chan lifted him up on the leg press machines multiple times:
When Jeongin failed to hit a single high note due to his voice cracking on their Kingdom performance of "I'll Be Your Man", causing their ranking to fall that week, Jeongin was upset about it and cried over it multiple times. Yet, each time, the members immediately comforted him, and always emphasize how minor of a mistake it was, and that they still love him. Immediately after the performance:
Changbin reflecting on how upset Jeongin was later that night back at their dorm, and how they comforted him there too:
There are countless more examples of Jeongin being spoiled as the maknae, but if I listed them all, this thread would probably be hundreds or thousands of examples long. It's cute how much all of Stray Kids loves him. As they should though to be honest, Jeongin is such an awesome member. He has such a beautiful singing voice, he loves children (to the point where before he became a trainee, he wanted to be a Kindergarten teacher), he has quite the sassy and savage side (but can also be sweet too), he sets healthy boundaries with Stays and more. All of those aspects can be a thread for another day though, so this one remains primarily focused on how much the other members love him. Besides, this thread is probably long enough as is.
