Today, somebody on Vlive asked for period advice and Chan, replied in such an amazing, gender neutral manner, with genuine advice?





He’s literally getting hated on because people think it’s ‘cringey’.

And like as a non-binary person, I really appreciated this especially since I get a lot of dysphoria from periods. And so this made me feel more comfortable with them. The fact he's getting hate makes me so sad :(

Exactly, It's a natural thing that happens with the human body and people need to stop being so immature about it! I get that it was a little awkward but to be honest, most dudes are a little awkward about periods because most of us don't grow up in environments where we discuss them openly and Chan actually taking the time to answer the question instead of just ignoring it (which he easily could have down) helps to dismantle that stigma. Honestly, I respect him for this even if some people did find it cringey because at least he had the balls to answer a question that most people would shy away from!

periods aren't that bad. there's definitely a time and place to talk about it, but that goes for every subject. it's not like, disgusting either. it's normal. Do i go around just talking about periods randomly? no. But if someone asks me about them then I respond. It shouldn't be discouraged to talk about it if someone asks. It shouldn't be discouraged in general lol

i don't get why anyone would ask him about this out of all things, but i really liked his reply and it's nice of him that he took his time to talk about it and be as helpful as he can despite not going through the same thing. it should be appreciated and not hated on.

Why is he getting hate for this?

Sure maybe it was awkward for some but he didn't do anything wrong by answering it, if anything he gained more respect from me because he's trying to help with a topic that's often shyed away from. A lot of people I've been around irl always treat the subject as something disgusting and to not be talked about, when it's just a natural thing.
