I don't think i eat a lot, but i keep gaining weight everyday , more and more. I also have PCOS, and have no energy after work, i also need to study. I don't know if i will ever be able to manage this, at least lose a small portion...

take this with a grain of salt but i knew someone (didn't have PCOS tho) who struggled with losing weight because working/studying took too much time. A drastic way they managed to do it was forcing themselves to do quite massive effort every time they could (for example on one of the stairs they had to take between/after classes, they ran the whole thing multiple times) and this everyday which was quite brutal the first few days. They also ate less and just didn't ate at all when they didn't make any effort beforehand. Overall they lost quite a lot of weight rapidly (around 10 pounds i think). It's brutal tho, the first few days youre gonna die probably lol

Oh yeah, for sure it's brutal. I do think about going back to calorie deficit plan, however i don't think not eating before any workout is the healthiest habit. It's like you're creating a negative relationship with food.

yeah it might be hard psychologically for some, and it can also have some negative impact with your studies, perhaps maybe trying to do intense workout during commute time of any length ?

how much exercise did you/have you done?
even a small amount like walking for 10min or so helps
obviously better if you do more and the added benefit of exercise is that it can help relieve stress

I did before, but not much now, i should try after work cause it's still warm. At night it's only 8 celsius or 46 fahrenheit

You could be gaining weight if you're under stress right now, not to mention usually when I become hyper-aware of my weight I tend to gain more because I stress eat. Do you normally fluctuate anything like 0-10 lbs from your normal weight? Perhaps you could continue as normal and weigh yourself again in a month and see how much it has changed.

Maybe this could help:

But you wrote that you don't eat that much. Did you list what you eat throughout the day?

Maybe i do....and it's just me that doesnt realize.

So for breakfast coffee with two biscuits.

For lunch something homecooked (usually a meat and either potatoes or maccaroni) and a fruit next to it.

Dinner is pretty similarly the same, leftovers from lunch and a snack. Could be cereal or popcorn or biscuits.

I do think i need to eat more greans. Sometimes i have soup for dinner.

Biscuits, maccaroni, dinner with more maccaroni? Potatoes? Or cereals, popcorn (I guess with sugar instead of honey), biscuits? Carbohydrates and bad fats - a problematic mix.

I guess you eat too many carbs for losing weight significantly - especially if you don't have the time/motivation to workout regularly. You drink something like Coke instead of Coke Zero, Energy drinks, Bubble tea with sugar instead of sweetener? These are even more carbohydrates!

Reduce the amount of sugar and white flour. Instead eat whole grain bread - it contains complex carbs that fill you up longer. Also eat more healthy fats like the ones you find in nuts and fish. Poultry is a good source for protein and it has less fat than pork meat. No pizza, no pasta, no burgers, no candy bars, no drinks with sugar, no deep fried foods anymore! You want snacks? Brazil nuts are a great source of protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Eat fruits. They contain sugar too, but also valuable ingredients like enzymes, fiber, vitamins. Eat vegetables. Lots of vegetables.

And keep moving. Start with daily walking routines. About an hour every day. You'll not burn that much fat when you just walk, but you learn to get more persistent. Dream big, start small. You walked for a few weeks every day? Maybe even for two hours? Walk a bit faster. Every day, for an hour. Then start to run! Oops, what happened? You are a runner now! You can continue just running, you can join a gym. You can train at home. You can combine these options. It's your choice.

How do I know all that? There was a time in my life where my bathroom scales displayed 130 kilos. Now I have 75 kilos.

Here are some informations regarding a Low-Carb diet. It's just a start, you'll find much more informations online.

My favorite Low-Carb diet is the Paleo diet. I eat 'Paleo' since about five years.

Having said that, talking about diets is often like talking about music: Everyone thinks he/she listens to the best bands. :rosesmug:
So I just told you what worked for me. Other people might have completely other opinions about the allegedly 'best' diet.

Thank you, i actually don't drink sodas, i mostly drink coffee, tea or water. I don't drink energy drinks, they taste disgusting i agree. There is no Bubble tea anywhere around here. I think i ate a burger last time ... maybe in spring. Will look if there are brazil nuts in the store, i only saw normal salted peanuts...
I mainly only eat chicken, i don't like beef.
Walking is a great idea, i keep pushing it off...

Thank you for the resources, it's a good motivation to cut down on snacks and sugar

Yeah, it's just frustrating. Cause i wake up one day with one weight and the next with another... I wish i could find an exercise i also enjoy, i think that could be a lot of help.
