Is Cake more liked than sneakers? I read tat Sneakers was itzy's downfall but thought cake was also disliked(I thought both were absurd titles but not worse than Dalla Dalla or its contemporary "Bon bon chocolat"(I thought most ridiculous title I still hvnt got over the absurdity: i still stan Everglow just not this song)

But audience seem to love Cake(the song not the food). Maybe haters just bash sneakers/Cake while fandom midzy don't hate it as much as non-fans?

You do you; tat whole era(maybe still is) was very non-special/ordinary/mundane titles like chicken noodle soup n I blank on other TT/titles but it seemed too much of a "thing" to me then; thinking now even "Pencil" might hv been a kpop song title(I'm blanking now but I think nct or other subgroup/members solos had very "ordinary" titles(im not gonna earworm/"pollute"/mindwash by looking up title tracks but i swear i rmbr/thought it was too much then(seems to hv stopped now or rarely happens-maybe smoosh/random words in a row like "sugar honey ice tea" which nvr appeared in tat sequence or together before).

sneakers to me was a let down after mafia in the morning n tat whole promotion after Dalla Dalla, wannabe n icy weren't my vibe much(nice but no stan); so after mafia to go to sneakers/cake n after; I lost touch/motivation to follow itzy(casually like wat little I hear but doesn't make me stan; maybe if chaeryeong n someone else subunit ot Chae sisters duo debuted).

but i think haters piled on sneakers TOO MUCH UNDESERVEDLY(honestly i thought it dint deserve the vitriol/response it did[edit: from haters; sales were good]; n i think fans at their concerts at least like Cake[song i mean] 💖)
