What would it look like for other big companies like YG, JYP or Hybe ?

I don’t seee it happening because for the most part they don’t have enough active groups. YG has BP and Treasure, HYBE it depends on what you count as being part of it (if you count acquired companies they have enough ofc), and JYP has Itzy, Twice, and Skz.

I mean YG could do it with GD + some Winner members + some Treasure members.

Hybe could be SVT + TXT + Enhypen

JYP could be some 2PM members + some SKZ members and of course JYP

Maybe, not sure the fans of said groups would always agree because of perceived popularity and differences. Which did happen with SuperM too, but I feel like it would be more pronounced with those groups.

depends on how you define the term. japanese fans definitely view them as more kpop, as they're from a korean company and are distincly modelled after kpop groups. plus they do promote in korea iirc

I don't know if I would call them a kpop group given they have no original Korean songs from my understanding, promote primarily in Japan, and their songs have Japanese most of the time. Same way I wouldn't call NCT 127 jpop, when they even go so far as to release original Japanese songs, which NiziU don't release Korean original songs unless I'm missing something. At most to me NiziU are a kpop styled jpop group.

I can see your point, but if they wanted to include members from all their GG, it would not be the most outlandish thing to take members from NiziU too

It’s not the most outlandish but it’s also not unexpected to exclude them either.

I wouldn’t I feel like companies tend to separate different areas of outreach. I wouldn’t expect a Boy Story member to be in a male version either for similar reasons. If they’re still a thing that is.

I'd LOVE to see a HYBE supergroup. Maybe Seventeen, TXT, and Boynextdoor? Somebody said Enhypen with the first two, but idk, I like Boynextdoor better.
