Former BIGBANG member T.O.P has once again made clear that he does not plan to rejoin the group, while expressing support for his former bandmates as they mark their 20th anniversary.

Japan's TV Asahi Channel 1 aired footage from T.O.P's "RE:UNION" fan meeting on Sept. 12. The event was held at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama in July.

During an interview included in the broadcast, T.O.P was asked how he felt about BIGBANG embarking on its first world tour in nine years. T.O.P said he plans to continue his career as a solo artist and does not expect to share the stage with the members again. Still, he said he would continue to support their music and activities.

The comments reinforce the distance T.O.P has maintained from a possible BIGBANG reunion. During interviews for Netflix's "Squid Game" Season 2 last year, he said he continued to feel guilty about the damage his past actions had caused the group and acknowledged that he was not in regular contact with the members.

T.O.P debuted as a member of BIGBANG in 2006 and left the group after participating in its 2022 single "Still Life." He has since focused on his solo career, releasing his first full-length album, "ANOTHER DIMENSION," in April. BIGBANG is currently celebrating its 20th anniversary as a three-member act consisting of G-Dragon, Taeyang and Daesung, with a world tour underway.

I feel like it's obvious that the way things went down was a really traumatizing time for TOP, and even though he doesn't seem to blame the other members for that, I can understand him wanting to walk away and not reopen that door again.
