Taiyou no Musume was a duo group under StarMine Agency. When it debuted in November 2012 it was considered as a permanent group, however when Girls10 and Tenpenko debuted it changed to a sub-unit. The duo consisted of Sakino Umamoshi and Miki Senouka, who were two friends. Their concept was close to Kawaii Power!'s concept but it was more girly and bubbly than theirs. Both girls decided to disband in Spring 2016 after having released 2 full-albums, one best-of album and 10 singles. Both members said that Taiyou no Musume's style doesn't correspond to themselves anymore but want to pursue a solo carreer or eventually produce their own group. Sakino said that she dreams to release a solo work and to write more songs. While Miki didn't said clearly what she will do in the future. Their fandom is called Rainy Day, because "Taiyou" means sun and they want to make the sun shines no matter how the weather is outside. Miki is a co-producer of a really famous idol group in Coloread (IQonic). She also composed some tracks for April Fool's radio show "Four Leaf Clover ~ Lucky Day~" and she wrote the lyrics of some songs for the "Mystery of the Blanche Castle" drama soundtrack.
