Temperature is really relative (1 Viewer)

The other day, I went outside in 32F weather (0C) with just a sweatshirt and felt like it was such beautiful weather because it’s been so cold. But I remembered back when I was doing my study abroad in the UAE, and I felt like 75F (24C) was when sweatshirt weather starts because it was too cold otherwise. Very different sides of the spectrum, but I what i was accustomed to at that point was just very different

It also depends on other factors like relative wind speed and humidity. I've always been a winter person and I can't stand summer where I'm from so when I went to Australia I expected the worst only to find out that 45'C was actually rather comfortable, I thought I'd had a change of heart and maybe summer wasn't that bad anymore so next year I went to Japan during the summer where it hit 35'C.. BIG MISTAKE! It was absolutey awful, I'd be all nice and cool indoors and within 10 seconds of stepping outside my whole body was wet and I don't normally sweat like at all.

I haven't experienced winter in other countries but from what I know it generally feels a lot colder in places like Scandinavia than say South Korea in similar temperatures.
