Shipping weirdness. Currently I have a package supposedly arriving Friday that hasn’t shipped, a package through USPS that was last updated in the 20th, and after finding a perfect gift for my dad I found out it arrives at earliest January 12th. By that time even Russian Christmas (January 7th) would have passed. I got it anyways as a birthday gift, his is in early February. Hopefully the others turn up on time though

I think it’s pretty normal to expect them. Birthdays on or too close to Christmas already get the short end of the stick. Why chop off even more?

mines jan 2 and usually people will either do something for either christmas or my birthday, but not both (but sometimes it's both), but for people like my immediate family, they usually do both ^^
i feel kinda bad though because i feel like i get too much in such a little amount of time

Yeah, thank god I usually do it early enough where it doesn’t matter The gift supposedly coming on Friday actually shipped a couple hours ago and even if it’s a day or two late it won’t matter. The one not seen in almost ten days only promised to arrive the 4th to the 12th of December so they have time still to get their act together.

True. I don’t usually trust them, I usually go way earlier than the date or don’t buy it at all if its too close. Unless it’s my dads gift because hes hard to come up with ideas for

good thing is we don't really celebrate Xmas so there's really not much gift giving for us...

*cough expensive vodka cough* lol
