talk about bad flight experiences... our flight home from the CHARGE conference last summer, it wasn't the first flight to Charlotte, but it was the last one from Charlotte to Cincinnati. it all started with an announcement about inclement weather in Charlotte and culminated in a gate change, a threatened cancellation, and several delays. We were supposed to board the Cincinnati flight at 10:30 pm... didn't end up taking off until just past midnight. The airline was nice enough to try and speed up the boarding and takeoff processes, but we still didn't get home til 1 am. And the icing on the cake was the ride home - the person who was taking me home (my caregiver P's [I have three - P, C, & T] husband), he didn't get to the pickup area until like 1:30, and it was 2:15 by the time I finally crawled into bed.

What was your experience, if you don't mind sharing?
