The coronavirus.... (1 Viewer)

[Shimmer]

Trump has declared coronavirus as a national emergency, and uhh people are sorta panicking and going straight to the supermarket to stock up. I wonder if school would be closed or not .

[Hajima]

School is closed in my country.

[Myco]

Schools closed down for 5 weeks where I live as well

[Tickita]

Schools are def closing. My job is staying open but we all have to work from home on Monday

[Wingfrost]

Pretty much all the schools around me have been closed, people are even wearing gloves at my bank, and last time I was at our Walmart they had someone outside the restrooms to clean after each person came out. And now my mom wants my family to stay inside for 2 weeks to see how the virus spreads more around us. It’s crazy.

[Abeamus]

Places are moving more towards lock down now than just simply trying to prevent the virus from spreading

[yeji]

things are chaotic here too. just today there was an announcement that my university will start two weeks later

[JoanaIsHere]

Ironically they’re more likely to get the coronavirus at the supermarket than just staying home like usual

[Suzy]

It hasn't been declared a national emergency in my country yet but people have been stocking up since the first death was reported (3 deaths so far). Everyone is ready to go into lockdown. Just waiting for the prime minister to give the order.

[Wicked]

My workplace has already been on lockdown. All visitors are screened and only 1 visitor per person per day is allowed. All of our doors are locked, people have to ring a bell. All employees are screened daily before shift and sent home if they even have a cough. I work with the elderly and vulnerable.

It's a different country in S.E.A. from where I am, but I dunno-maybe more places in more countries will also institute measures to stop the spread of infection if things get worse quickly.
