The excitement and stress of a new stack of library books (1 Viewer)

On one hand, yay, I have something to read! Lots of somethings!

On the other hand, OMG, I have to finish these quickly, so the next person in line can get their book timely.

I've really gotten into it lately! It helps that they're on the way to a friend's place where we play D&D on Wednesdays, so I don't even have to go out of my way for it. But I bought too many mid af books last year, and I want to limit unnecessary spending this year. And in a way, I'm technically paying for the library with my taxes.

I sometimes go to the library for work when I want to get out of the house or not at the office

and I like to take my kids there to read and play (my library has things like toys and even a nintendo switch)

absolutely more people should make use of the resources since the more people that use it the more funding and resources it gets

Benefit of library books: they have a due date and as such you have incentive not to put them off.

That does happen sometimes.

I'll finish at least two in my stack, though. One, I've been excited to pick up since I saw the cover, and it's short anyway. The other is a book club book.

Ohh, that's an interesting mix! I like an entertaining nonfiction.

@Harmony_Starz it is slightly inspired by her interests (and some knowledge that is unfamiliar to me). It is actually quite fascinating so far
