In 1977, the FBI received a fairly unusual request. Peter Byrne wrote to them asking if they could possibly test some hair samples to find if the samples could possibly belong to Bigfoot. Surprisingly, they agreed, despite this case having none of the usual contexts when it comes to picking up cases (usually they do cases in relation to crime related stuff of course). They tested the samples and found that they belonged to Bigfoot a species of deer. The files were released to the public 42 years later, in 2019.

I guess bigfoot caught wind of the FBI getting involved, and went ahead and shaved himself to trick the FBI so they'd only find animal hairs instead smooth brain move lol
