The irony of ifan comments on Irene's Instagram page and comparison to AOA scandal? (1 Viewer)

Considering the superiority complex that some ifans always had compared to knetz, can anyone explain this??? Why would they wish death to Jimin and Seolhyun and call them snakes and wish for them to retire and then for Irene who did the same thing to more than just one person, they would send love and supportive comments???
At least reading the Korean comments and comparing them to AOA scandal it seems to me that they are more sane for treating all of them equally.

I'm not even saying why doesn't she get hate from ifans, but why is she getting special treatment from them? If they are supporting her they may as well have supported Jimin or even Amber Heard the same way

i don't agree with blindly defending irene because we don't know her personally so we can't tell what she is really like. but at the same time, what she did was nowhere near being comparable to 10 years of bullying a member of the group she's in.

I think it’s just a fanbase demographic thing, and that there is less clear cut evidence compared to aoa and amber heard, not to take away from Irene’s actions

I think the people who sent death threats to Jimin and the people babying Irene in her comments are equally stupid but the AOA was by far way more severe. What Irene did was typical stuck up celebrity stuff. AOA almost killed somebody

Are you serious? As far as I am aware, Irene didn't bully someone for 10+ years to the point where they tried to kill themselves. Irene's case is more along the lines of princess syndrome where she is just rude to (some) people and expects to be treated like a princess. Sure it's not anything good, but no way is it comparable to Jimin.

4 me alone, imo-i dint wade into the previous scandal but i thot privately i would base my opinion on objective facts. A:
1) they denied being a bully by , paraphrase-saying it was fiction
2) all subsequent documented actions until now.

The diffrence to me:
1) irene acknowledged n apologised in short order after it broke out, the accusation n claim there was a recording-ymmv on why irene/sm reacted so swiftly-fact remain : apology n acknowledgement were swift, no denial or calling it fiction/threaten to sue happened.
2) Rv/irene are laying low/losing money by not doing festival/fan meet rn,while ymmv y they doing tat-to me its different from situation A above.

Ofc some r unreservedly supporting irene(including me actually, but it might make my head explode soon). Love of irene is stronger than for the previously mentioned above situation, i dont condone irene actions towards the stylist/any others she mistreated. Until any more revelations come out im trying to stay at this level of disappointment at irene. If she is revealed to be a monster ill base my reaction/opinion on wat is revealed then. Tats all ig. End.

I think the main difference that separates most peoples ability to truly sympathise in the Irene situation versus those is that we don't have any attachment to the victims and only have attachment to the perpetrator.

For some people the situation is their reality of someone who they feel like they know is being challenged by people they don't know and people will approach the matter with skepticism as most of what we are seeing in the situation and some even go as far as defending the person they feel they know.

Irenes actions don't weigh up to Jimins in any way but her behaviour towards her staff should be criticised and the key word being her behaviour not her as a whole since the controversy seems to really be about Irene really losing it when she loses her temper which we all lose our temper but I'd hope that we don't reduce people just trying to do their job to tears whenever that happens.
