The obsession with ENDING a group (1 Viewer)

I always wonderd why many kpop fans seem to have this weird obsession that groups get ENDED.

Like New Jeans is having a great run with their new songs and weird fans write OHOHOHO NEW JEANS ENDED IVE!!!!!!! while IVE girlies are probably chilling and living their best life, getting bombarded with awards front, left and center

Or a group ranks one spot better in the charts than the other one, suddenly the second group is ENDED.

What is that even supposed to mean?!? Its like the group that allegedly got ENDED has to disband right away if they say it?!

This stupid phrase really pisses me off
