I broke my foot and I'll chose that ANY DAY over tearing...

I’ve broken my foot too. It hurt but apparently not too much because I competed at a gymnastics competition the next day (talk about dumb decisions). Then again my acl tear didn’t hurt all that much either, but it was too unstable to be able to walk it off like breaking my foot did. Surgery in the other hand, yikes. The aftermath once the nerve block and anesthesia wore off was pretty bad. But if I had not gone the surgery route, the acl experience might have been even less painful than the broken foot (but worse overall from a ability perspective).
