We saw some government buildings in a state capital in Germany (not federal capital) and the flags in front were very big, understandably. It’s a government building in a capital. But looking at the flags, I was reminded that they look to be at least 4x smaller than the flag at the random car dealership in a random town in my state Like I’m sorry, but why does a car dealership need a flag significantly bigger than a government building in a state capital? It’s just weird.

yeahhhhhhhh and the national anthem! I once had a sub actually scold all of us who weren't standing with our hands on our hearts for the anthem... like, I get her point... kinda... but she said it so rudely! in fact, even her last name was Ruder lol

Yeah, the US has a special brand of national pride but it also is what makes us so scary. The only way to beat the US would literally nuke us into oblivion. What will destroy the US will most likely be ourselves and this makes the current political situation so scary.

As a former boyscout and ROTC graduate it's actually not hard at all if you have enough people.

The USSR is known for propaganda and my dad agrees with that, it was one of the reasons he wanted to move to the US. When he found out about the pledge of allegiance, he was shocked, and said that it was something that in school, they didn’t have to do anything like that. And it also gets a bit weird to me because the pledge of allegiance is started at a young age, when realistically kids don’t have the critical thinking to realize it is brainwashing and propaganda.

lol you are actually very much right, whenever our football team loses (and it happens all the time) they're probably too busy calling them PATAŁACHY instead of taking these flags off

1. takes the time to enjoy the flags on German gov buildings; and
2. undertakes a comparative analysis of the sizes of German flags vs USA flags; and
3. ultimately comes to the conclusion that BIGGER is not necessarily better???
