The forecast a couple days ago was 6 inches and now it's up to 12!
Rudeness. Snow is supposed to ruin the working week, so I get to stay home when I don't want to be out; it's not supposed to touch my weekend!

Yeah, it's supposed to be followed with bitter cold on Sunday and Monday. High of -5*F (-20*C) with real feels around -30*F (-35*C).

And on my free three-day weekend too. At least I have books and stuff lol. Just makes it harder to take care of the dog or, you know, want to move.

Our storm is happening right now, it's going to storm all weekend and hit subzero cold midday AND we are expecting 5-12 inches of snow in just one day, this is adding to the 2-3 inches from yesterday

It’s a sizeable chunk of snow but it’s the temperature that would make me nope out Like yeah I may have experienced those temperatures before but that just makes me feel for you more because it’s pretty miserable at that range

The cold is the worst! I don't mind a bit of snow (except when it ruins my weekend plans!), but I hate wearing layers and being inside and drinking hot cocoa and still feeling cold.

The only good thing about the cold: getting cozy in comfy clothes. Luckily, I got new slippers over Christmas, and I had the foresight to buy hot cocoa yesterday, so the weekend will be manageable. Just cooped up!

Yeah, ikr! People in warm climates all year round seem to wish they had snow but snow is fun to visit, not to live in. And it's fun to play in for a little while, especially as a kid but you get tired of it after a while.

Getting to stay home from school or work and not having to work from home is the best thing ever though.

I'm so happy to because unless they change it, as a senior, you don't have to make up snow days at the end of the school year since you'll be graduating on May 10 (final day of classes) (everyone is gets out May 31)

LMAO exactly! Though I've had to go to school with snow before. It was kind of fun as a kid and playing in the snow with my friends but at the same time I'm just like why.

But in middle school, it didn't matter anyway because we would have indoor recess (which was also really fun because you got to play board games, on your phones, and video games if you brought them, etc.)

Haha yeah, I have no idea why that is. While it would be nice to live somewhere tropical where the temps don't change except for some cold fronts and slightly colder winters, I would miss the full season cycle too much.

Couldn't have said it better myself! But the worst is seriously when you think it's snow and it looks like snow but it's actually ice. Makes snow days outside pretty sucky...😭

But I think it's funny how most of us miss the heat in the harsh winter but we miss the cool in the hot summer months. That's why fall and early spring are the best lmao

Yep! We actually have our ceremony on May 18 but we stop having classes the 10th this year. I don't mess with underclassmen usually, especially because juniors are sometimes more focused than us but that's one thing I would be like "haha, in your face!!"
