I'm just genuinely curious.
I've only been on like one real date before I wound up dating my BF.
I've only been on like one real date before I wound up dating my BF.
But the worst thing that happened is a guy asked me out after we graduated from high school. Messaged me like 3 years after we graduated and stopped talking. We began catching up and then he kind of like asked me out. So it was a couple of weeks before the date so I had to wait until the weekend or I was on break to go back and go on the date. It was sweet because he got us tickets to an improv show because he knew I liked theatre and comedy.
But you see, some red flags shot up before the day of the date hit and I kind of was like...I don't know if I want to go on this date. Like I found myself not necessarily wanting to text him. Then when I was in the store once we were texting and he was like "What ya doing?" and I was like "I'm at the Grocery Store." Then he texted me saying "Hold up!" And then fucking called me. Now this may not seem like a big deal but I get anxious in most public spaces and phone calls increase that anxiety so I ignored the call. He then texted me confused as to why I ignored the call and I tried explaining that I was shopping and didn't want to be on my phone in public.
By the time the day of the date rolled up I realized I a hundred percent did not want to do this but didn't want to be rude and just ditch out. SO I got dressed and was getting ready to drive down and then on the way down my engine light went on and the driver light was blinking telling me that I should NOT be driving. So I texted him and at this point is was almost half an hour before the show and they begin seating people at this point. So when I texted him he offered to come get me. I told him by the time he comes to get me and we get there the show will already have started. I apologized and said I'd pay him back for the tickets.
He then blew up <.<
Like long strings of text going off at me and then he blocked me.
I dodged a bullet.
