There are NYE traditions in your country? For example here you should wear something red (even the red underwear is fine ) for luck (I guess, not sure) and you should have money in your pocket so you won't be poor the entire year.
Also, there's another thing. Boys craft different costumes like a bear or ugly masks and sing and dance with drums at the people's doors. They should scare the bad spirits, but they scare me as well. When I hear those drums I'm literally running I mean a random bunch of dudes with ugly masks? Thanks, no. Thanks God this tradition is not that present in the urban areas anymore.

So? What traditions do you have in your country?

None, except for fireworks.
Tho I feel like majority of people put on the TV a minute before the New Year, where they broadcast a concert or music show of someone and then we count.

Not a cultural tradition but many immature bikers doing tricks, stunts and losing their lives in the process is a big thing here on new year. They also take off the silencers and catalytic converters of their vehicles for the sake of celebration.

Well it's kind of interesting. Did you see the chinese/korean dragons dances? well the bear dance is kind of similar, but it still scares me. I cross the street usually when I hear drums

As far as i know nothing very special, fireworks and maybe petards.
They are like miny fireworks basically that you can throw around anywhere idk if other countries do this but ours are insane
It's mostly kids that buy these and they can be really fucking dangerous, some aren't but a lot of them are, and so someone ends up losing a finger or their hearing or something cause a kid decided it would be funny for him to throw one next to someone...

These petards can be fun if used correctly and not around people as i sometimes have but they can srsly be so stupidly dangerous and are easy to buy even for kids.

we do have petards as well... i'm scared of them too what if they explode near me? and yes, they can be really dangerous

I know that all lot of people like to go to the bars, parties, and other places to celebrate. That's about it.

As for me, I just sit at home and do nothing until midnight. Then after midnight I go back to doing nothing all over again.
