I have a recipe I use. It lists 3 cuisines for that food, which is quite a lot. In 3 tries you’d think they can get the right cuisine right? It was an Uzbek dish. The cuisines listed were American, Mediterranean, and Russian American idek. Wrong continent. Mediterranean also yikes. Uzbekistan is very much not on the Mediterranean sea. Russian is pretty off, though I suppose many people in Russia ate it and probably still do, my mom being one of them. But still not Russian. Why on earth did people pick those to describe this food?
