I was reminded of their existence since some group called SPEED is going to be at Coachella next year, and I'm certain it's not them. But seriously, they had the strongest run of interesting choreo during their time.

This heelies choreo with backflips and jumps:


Keeping the theme of a "zombie party" but immediately opening with multiple complex moves:


Getting a whole gym to practice the tossing, jumps, and backflips for this one:


Voguing (ETA: Tutting actually?) with lighted gloves. Love a good prop use:


You can really see the second gen trend of the small sharp movements that everyone nails + the athleticism SPEED was known for:

Knowing they're from the same company as T-ara and Davichi, I always thought it's interesting how some companies basically stumble into success and can't replicate for any of their other groups. SPEED had all the elements, just not the management to get them there.

Second or early third, depending on how you count things. They were originally part of a group called Coed School, which had an all-female subunit (F-ve Dolls) and an all-male subunit (SPEED), which eventually became the "real" groups. Coed School is solidly second gen, and SPEED's formal split-off was 2012, so kinda touching that border between gens.
