3 of the most famous rules of the past couple hundred years had interesting similarities. 3 of them were born to an ethnic group or location different than the one associated with their future country. 2 of them spoke the official language of their future country not as a first language. And all 3 liked some form of art
It’s just an interesting coincidence imo.
Hitler: Born in Austria, likes painting and she homeless tried to get money to live by selling his art.
Stalin: Born in imperial Russia but ethnically Georgian, spoke Georgian as a first language, liked writing Georgian poetry.
Napoleon: Born in Corsica, spoke Corsican as a first language, Italian as a second, and French as a third, and liked writing romance novels.
There’s some other similarities that 2 share, but not all 3. Like feelings of nationality (Hitler having pro German and anti Austria tendencies, Napoleon having pro Corsica anti French tendencies), family (Hitler and Stalin having abusive dads and loving moms), jail time for Hitler and Stalin, Stalin and Hitler having experienced poverty, and both Hitler and Stalin becoming anti what parents wanted (Hitler dad wanted him to be a pro Austria politician, Stalins mom wanted Stalin to be a priest and in the end Stalin government discriminated against religion and were staunchly atheist).
Ofc some of this may just be a product of the times. Like given that most people at the time had experience in poverty it isn’t necessarily that surprising that 2/3 experienced that. But it’s still kind of funny how it works out
They say that commonalities makes it more likely to get along with people but Stalin and Hitler didn’t get the memo clearly. I guess when one or both sides want to wipe out all your people it gets in the way
