Located in Banda Aceh, Thailand, this barge is located 1.6 miles (2.6 km) from the sea. The reason it’s found inland is because of the 2004 tsunami that hit the area. The tsunami brought the barge all that way inland, and after the tsunami the locals decided to keep it there and make a museum out of it rather than get rid of it/move it back to the ocean.
