I've watched anime for my entire life. I don't see myself ever not watching it or reading manga; that is a part of me that will probably never go away. BUT...

I hate isekai with every fiber of my being. They are just not fun to me, and the worst part is that they are being produced en masse. I used to like SAO, but I feel like its success was the start of all this isekai slop being produced.

Power fantasies should be reserved for the villains, and then the protagonist should have to reach that level through training and hard work—not the other way around.

Do you enjoy Isekai or not?
