This youtube channel makes me reconsider so much about life (1 Viewer)

Just 2 days ago I stumbled onto this youtube channel called DissociaDID and I fell in love.
This channel was made by a girl with Dissociative Identity Disorder or Multiple Personality Disorder, meaning the body she lives in has multiple personalities!

And this channel in a very short time made me think about a lot of things.
It made me realize a lot of things about gender, about sexuality, about personalities and even age.

I recommend you all check the channel out, it is extremely interesting to see how all the different alters interact and differ from each other. How they all rely on each other to function and live their everyday lives.

This video showcases the differences between some of the alters very well!




Also THIS video... Is made by one of the more... intense alters but this video is very scarily inspirational. She is very agressively validating you!

I know multiple personality disorder gets mixed up with schizophrenia sometimes.....

Possibly because they liken the voices to actual personalities, when in short. They aren't the same thing.
while another is living their life as multiple people at once, the other is merely a fantasy in the mind. hmmmm

i have come across that channel before and i think it is interesting...but i can never really watch it.. because while the disorder makes sense on paper to me, the reason why it happens and such..seeing it in actuality, for some reason my brain only can perceive it as a type of acting or character playing even though i know the person has an actual issue and had a reason for why they have to deal with this disorder

its good that she brings light to this though, hopefully as it is seen more and people can learn about it and i can learn more to stop associating it as a kind of roleplay or act
