Thoughts on A.A Williams (2 Viewers)

I finally gave @Tsukino 's recs a listen and I wanted to make a thread on my thoughts!

I think overall there is sort of grungy feeling in her music. And I think she knows how to create ambiance. The use of strings, guitar, and vocal layering really give this emotional feel but it's also sort of mesmerizing. I also love her vocals. I love the sort of huskiness to her voice but there are also moments of control with vibrato and other inflections that are great, magical details. The lyrics seem to be really relatable which I like as well.

yeah she's definitely one of those artists I could listen to when I'm feeling stressed. By that I mean, I feel like her songs are evocative of such deep, emotional stuff and it is incredibly mesmerizing vibe wise, so I find that kind of thing comforting sometimes when I am like that. i will probably revisit her for sure in the future I think.
