Thoughts on manual vs automatic? (1 Viewer)

I prefer automatic Im definitely not in the camp of “omg automatics are ruining the car driving experience the decline of manual cars is proof that people are becoming dumber and less capable, long live the less technologically advanced version”.

Automatics I think I would prefer it over the manual ones

Manual. I feel like I would get bored with an automatic, also, they're way more expensive here
but we're force to have all electrics soon

As much as I would love assistance on driving, I just don't know what to expect with automatics. I have to go with manual for now

I prefer manuals, but it's a losing battle. The demand for manuals is declining, and hybrids and EVs nowadays have only automatic transmissions. (Actually, most EVs don't have transmissions.)

It’s very similar tbh, just with no need to shift and no clutch. Basically if you want to be stopped press the brake and if you want to accelerate forward press the gas. Much nicer for traffic imo because you aren’t constantly pressing and depressing the clutch, and much nicer on a hill because unlike a manual, it won’t roll back.
