Because it snowed, I’ll be giving a quiz about a snow fact I think I shared (maybe) on here before If you weren’t around, take your best guess. Also this goes by US specifications, it may be different in other countries

The question is: How many inches of snow minimum are needed for a snowstorm to be considered a blizzard (in inches)?
A. 0-12
B. 13-18
C. 19-24

It is a trick question there aren’t any requirements for fresh snowfall. Blizzards are actually about high speed wind carrying snow and causing low visibility for an extended time rather than requiring fresh snowfall. Fresh snowfall can happen in a blizzard, but if there’s enough loose snow on the ground to be picked up by wind and cause the low visibility requirements for enough time, it’s still a blizzard. Those kinds of blizzards are often referred to as ground blizzards
