yeah this shit is extremely fucking stupid. i've been reading up on things here and there, about fans overreacting to what are literally nothing but rumours (if they're true tho congrats to the couple hope they're happy together, i wish them nothing but the best)... it's mind-blowing, the idiocy.

all fandoms are the same. there's always those people (regardless of where they're from, let's be real, it's not just an east asian fan thing) who think oppa/hyung/unnie/noona is THEIRS and no one else's. sucks to see it among your own fans too, this is the first time i'm seeing something of this scale in my own fandom though and it's sad...

edit to add: this has been said before but fuck kpop companies for marketing their idols not as people but as fill-in significant others for those who don't have their own. yes this is how the industry works, yes many fans are smart enough to separate marketing from reality, but that doesn't change the fact that gullible fans are being manipulated. it takes two to tango: delulu fans and greedy kpop companies.

No idol should feel that way, especially not Joshua! It's their personal lives, and these fakers need to learn to leave them be! They're just humans like the rest of us and should be allowed to date in peace.
