To My Wonderful Events Team Members… (1 Viewer)

I was wanting to do this once I hit my 1st year anniversary with Events Team but we’ve been quite busy and I never had the time to write what I wanted to say until now.

We haven’t talked a whole lot outside of planning for events/during events, however you play a part in our team just like everyone else and the team wouldn’t be the same without you. Thank you for being one of mine and Tickita’s “mentors” (idk what else to call it lol) during our intern months and even now. I hope we are able to talk more in the future and get to know each other better.

Thank you for serving as Events wonderful leader for so long before you retired

, you are quite busy and I miss seeing you as much as we used to. But I know you are always there to help whenever one of us needs advice about something. Thank you (and to everyone else on the team at the time) for putting up with my never ending questions during my first few months and helping me learn the ropes. Panda = a lovely individual. Thank you for caring so much for Events.

There is never a dull moment with you Dae. I can always rely on you dropping a joke or one of your many puns in the chat and no matter how questionable it is, it still makes my Dae… Like with Xeulgi and Panda, thank you so much for helping us interns whenever we had questions and reassuring us whenever we made a mistake or were confused. You have such wonderful ideas and I hope you’ll stay with the team for a very long time.

We dragged you into the team and now your our leader . Even though you weren’t technically part of the events team at the time of me being an intern, thank you for being another person overseeing us and helping. We convinced you to join because your full of great ideas, you bring a lot of great things to the team. Thank you for helping me when I get confused with technology and reassuring me when I’m unsure of my position on the team.

We were interns together and not to be cheesy but I’m gonna be cheesy…I couldn’t have asked for a better “intern partner”. I knew right away that you would be offered a permanent position on the team. You have great ideas, are reliable and very hard working. I think I’ve told you this before but I remember being a little scared of you (still no idea why) but your easily one of the chillest people I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet and such a kind, funny person.

I genuinely love working with you all and being part of Events. I never anticipated being a staff member on here and when I submitted my submission for the internship I expected to be turned down. But thank you all for giving me a chance and allowing me to be part of the team. At one point this year I was seriously considering giving a month notice after the HP event and leaving because irl it got extremely busy and stressful. But when I was typing out what I was going to say to you all I realized how much happiness the team and creating/hosting events brings me and I decided against it. And I’m very happy that I did. I look forward to all the events we will create together in the future. I love you my lovely Events Members!!

Aww wing thank you so much

I was pretty nervous I wouldn’t be good enough for the team which is why I didn’t want to join at first, but you’re one of the people who made me more confident about joining, so thank you for that. Here’s to another while at least, hopefully a very long while

Aww thanks Wing!

Tbh I think it's my personality - it takes time for me to warm up. I'm glad we joined at the same time, and I can say I knew you'd make it on the team too. The fact that we were offered the position before our internship was up says a lot. So much has happened this year, and it was definitely a year of learning how to be on the team, how to be a good host. With our highs and lows, I think we did alright our first year. Panda would be proud to see the house hasn't burned down.

And I'm so glad you decided to stay - we really need you.

It was definitely lots to learn, some things easier than others. I think we did very well indeed

Omg, you are the cutest!!! The events team is my pride on KS from when I first started the team hehe. While I cannot be super active right now (my life is just becoming chaotic), I will always be there to support and answer questions. And, don't you worry, I will be back as a team lead (screw @Vikki, I am the better lead, jk ily).

From the moment that you sent in your application, I knew you were going to be a fantastic fit for the team. Both you and @Tickita have shown such incredible work and diligence, it was one of the reasons why I felt comfortable stepping back to focus on life for a moment. I am extremely proud of you two's progress from interns to being official members of the team, we really couldn't have picked better users for the positions. Keep working hard <3

While I am at this, @Vikki @dubudae @Xeulgi you three have been incredible as well. I may not be super active in the discussions any longer, but I do watch from the sidelines and you guys have been working hard, especially @Vikki who had to take on my role.

Each of you members make this team special, bringing joy to the KS community, and making KS Events what it's really been about: creating events to bring the community together through happiness, competition, and joy. I never imagined we would be capable of holding events such as the ones of this year, and I just know it will be even better in 2023.

I'm unfortunately a very strong mix of an introvert and shy and generally have it a bit hard talking with others but I'll try a bit harder and I also hope we get a bit closer

And thank you for your hard work, for being very active, and for having a positive influence on the event team, you and Tickita have been a great addition to the team♡

I understand that completely I think I come off more social online but I struggle with conversations, especially when it’s just one on one and in like our chats on Lark I kind of run out of things to say pretty fast . Whereas on KS I can go offline and think about a good response to whatever someone said to me.
