I did in elementary school, but not in junior high or high school. I think they quit making us do it because we had to move between classrooms for different subjects and didn't want to do it at the beginning of every class.

dang, we just have to do it during homeroom and that's it 😭

i did it through elementary/middle school, but now im in high school no one rlly does it. in this christian preschool i went to though, we had to do this extra long pledge of allegiance. im not very good at explaining it but yea.

children don't fully understand the concept of pledging allegiance to a flag, so it's not honoring your country or patriotism, it's blind obedience. and that to me sounds a lot like indoctrination. children should be taught to yes, love their culture and celebrate their country's greatest minds, but also to think critically about the state of their country, politics and history.

i only go on B days, and nobody in my 6th period does it except the teacher 😭

I did it during Kindergarten through High School even though in high school they do at the start of homeroom, which was at the end of 1st block classes (we 4 blocks + a lunch period, which was always after 2nd block *after 3rd block for the freshmen*).
