Ah, puzzles! I played the "Which hand?" game (where you put a treat in one hand and hold out your fists, and the dog has to figure out which one has the treat) with my dog a lot when I still had her, and she loved it! She was very good at it, too.

Puzzle toys make my small dog so mad. She thinks she shouldn't have to work for anything or share with the other dogs.
