definitely agree with you on that. it’s definitely risky and difficult but I am sure that we will reach a point where things need to change and will change and no one can stop it

But would a change in the system actually change sexism that much, because while they system technically might not be sexist and/or racist any more, that doesn't actually stop PEOPLE from being that.

that’s the tricky part. I don’t think people will neckerchief change. But talking about it alone, making this topic more visible is what might make people more think about their actions.

But the thing is, people will listen to what they agree with and there are a lot of opposing voices speaking out as well. Unless we ban free speech, that will continue to happen and people will continue to agree with it.

ofc without the discussion being there, even the ppl who might otherwise agree with the messages of equality etc, might just follow the teaching and understandings of the other side, because they know of no alternative.

People change when there is no more choice left, like how women started to get more rights during/after the world wars when they had to work in factories etc and men were just forced to accept that yes.... women CAN function without them.

But giving people no choice but to see that yes you ARE equal to them is a lot more difficult than making them think there is some worth to you.
