CHOI HYUN SUK·MASHIHO·YOON JAE HYUK of YG’s Rookie Group TREASURE Reveal Dance Performance… “Full of Swag”

[OSEN=지민경 기자] CHOI HYUN SUK, MASHIHO, and YOON JAE HYUK of YG’s rookie group TREASURE revealed a dance performance video full of swag on April 22.
In the video, CHOI HYUN SUK, MASHIHO, and YOON JAE HYUK performed Lil Pump’s ‘Be Like Me(Feat. Lil Wayne)’.
From the first rap verse, CHOI HYUN SUK made a strong impact through his performance utilizing a mannequin. The three members then spread out their arms and moved left and right, getting ready for the entire performance with their first-rate moves.
The members were in sync but grabbed the viewers’ attention with their unique moves as well. They also had solo parts while wearing masks at the end of the clip.
The viewers were able to check YOON JAE HYUK’s improved dance skills. At the time when ‘YG TREASURE BOX’ was on air, YOON JAE HYUK was the trainee with the shortest training period, which was only 7 months. He did not stand out in dance parts due to the relatively shirt training period, but his skills improved rapidly after he was selected as a member of TREASURE.
CHOI HYUN SUK and MASHIHO are members who were recognized due to their dance skills. CHOI HYUN SUK has previously received attention with his dance performance clip presented with DOYOUNG. He put in his own style on the latest dance clip as well. MASHIHO is a member who’s talented at both vocals and dancing. He presented his solid dance skills by collaborating with members CHOI HYUN SUK and YOON JAE HYUK.
Prior to the shooting, CHOI HYUN SUK, MASHIHO, and YOON JAE HYUK came up with the idea of wearing masks during the dance performance. They also color sprayed the mannequins and masks themselves, putting in their own efforts for the dance performance clip.
TREASURE has revealed the members’ improved dance and vocal skills through the dance performance clips by CHOI HYUN SUK·DOYOUNG and JIHOON·DOYOUNG·SO JUNG HWAN, in addition to the cover song videos.
Furthermore, TREASURE is meeting the global fans through self-produced video contents including ‘TREASURE MAP’, ‘TMI’, ‘Fact Check’, and ‘A 3 Minute TREASURE’.

YG’s Rookie Group TREASURE Challenges on Making Healthy Food… Shares Appreciation Towards Their Parents

[헤럴드POP=정혜연 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE improved their teamwork and their appreciation towards their parents by challenging on cooking healthy food together.
On April 24 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded episode 15 of ‘TREASURE MAP’ through their official blog and TREASURE’s official YouTube channel.
The clip showed TREASURE dividing into two teams and cooking healthy food using organic ingredients as a mission. Despite having poor skills, the members worked hard to cook lunch, dinner, and dessert while helping each other and making unforgettable memories.
After wearing an apron and cooking gloves, the members began preparing for lunch. The ‘Jjimdak Team’ was composed of members JIHOON·JUNKYU·YOON JAE HYUK·BANG YE DAM·DOYOUNG·PARK JEONG WOO. JIHOON who showed talent in woodchopping taught the members on how to use knives, as he previously learned through YouTube. JUNKYU had a hard time while cutting carrots while YOON JAE HYUK poured sugar into the sauce without hesitation, making the viewers burst into laughter.
The ‘Jeon Team’, composed of CHOI HYUN SUK·YOSHI·MASHIHO·ASAHI·HARUTO·SO JUNG HWAN, prepared pumpkin jeon and potato jeon. The team prepared the ingredients better than the Jjimdak Team, starting out well. ASAHI and HARUTO cut potatoes together while presenting their chemistry as the ‘potato boys’, while the youngest member SO JUNG HWAN surprised the others by showing off his rice cooking skills.
The two teams helped each other and prepared food with sincerity. The members then tasted the completed lunch menu and were put in awe. Although they’ve had a hard time cooking food with their clumsy skills, the members of TREASURE shared a precious lunch that tasted better than anything.
TREASURE then presented their fabulous chemistry while preparing for dinner and dessert. PARK JEONG WOO began boiling meant to make bossam. When steam started to come out of the iron pot, the ‘4 bossam boys’, YOSHI·ASAHI·BANG YE DAM·PARK JEONG WOO, began blowing wind while showing their aspects as the ‘TREASURE of will’. JIHOON and JUNKYU calmly prepared ingredients and measured the perfect ratio for the sauce to complete spicy kimchi geotjeori.
CHOI HYUN SUK, the eldest member, showed confidence while stating that he has previously made crepe before, which was the dessert menu. YOON JAE HYUK·DOYOUNG·HARUTO·SO JUNG HWAN melted the chocolate in the pan without pre-heating, making the ‘signature TREASURE chocolate sauce’. MASHIHO stirred the crepe with his bare hands and earned the nickname ‘master of turning crepes’, putting the viewers into laughter.
In the end, the members shared love towards their parents. While cleaning up the dishes, YOSHI revealed his gratitude on many things he thought was given and stated, “I thank my mother”. The members of TREASURE yelled, “Mom and dad, I love you”.

JIHOON x JUNKYO of YG’s Rookie Group TREASURE Reveal ‘A 3 Minute Home Training’ Video

[OSEN=박소영 기자] JIHOON of YG’s rookie group TREASURE transformed into an online trainer for the members and the TREASURE Makers(fandom name).
On April 25 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment revealed ‘A 3 Minute TREASURE – Home Training Episode’ through their official blog and TREASURE’s official YouTube channel.
JIHOON and JUNKYU got well-prepared for the home training and stood in front of the camera. JIHOON, who volunteered as the trainer of the day, revealed his will by stating, “I’ll stretch out and loosen JUNKYU’s knotted muscles”.
The two people began their training by stretching. JIHOON corrected JUNKYU’s form while explaining, ‘Pilates is about endurance, a fight between oneself”. When JUNKYU requested, “Teacher, I’d like to see you perform as well”, JIHOON pompously posed but fell with a stream, putting the viewers into laughter.
Despite being a short 3-minute clip, JIHOON and JUNKYU’s ‘silly chemistry’ stood out. While they were stretching their arms above their heads, they made the viewers’ hearts flutter by creating a huge heart using each other’s opposite arms.
JIHOON lead the training class with overflowing passion. For JUNKYU who has never performed band exercises before, he used customized training as a consideration. JUNKYU successfully followed the motions passionately and praised JIHOON’s professionalism to cheer him up.
After presenting all the prepared exercises, JIHOON promised, “I’ll train hard so that the members of TREASURE can be healthy and active”. They finished the show with a warm mood while cheering for even the TREASURE Makers’ health and well-being.

[OSEN=연휘선 기자] Members of YG’s rookie group TREASURE put the definite point of their freshness by creating the perfect harmony with the beautiful beach of Bali.
On April 27 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded profile photos of CHOI HYUN SUK, JIHOON, YOSHI, JUNKYU, MASHIHO, and YOON JAE HYUK on their official blog by publishing the ‘TREASURE EDITORIAL vol.8’.
TREASURE shot profile photos in Bali, Indonesia last year. The members reminded the viewers of marine boys in romance comics with their white and blue-toned outfits that gave them fresh and cool looks.
CHOI HYUN SUK added sweetness to his fresh charms by eating ice cream. JIHOON revealed his boyish beauty with the blue sky filled with blossoming clouds as the background.
YOSHI smiled while receiving the sunlight of Bali, while JUNKYU grabbed the viewers’ attention with his fresh smile that made them feel good just by looking at it.

[헤럴드POP=김지혜 기자] Members of YG’s rookie group TREASURE revealed their clean and fresh charms in the beautiful scenery of the beach.
On April 28 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded profile photos of ASAHI, BANG YE DAM, DOYOUNG, HARUTO, PARK JEONG WOO, and SO JUNG HWAN through their official blog.
The photos were taken last year with the blue sky and clear seas of Bali, Indonesia as the background. The freshness and brightness of TREASURE members who pulled of the concept of marine look stood out.
ASAHI grabbed the people’s attention with his bright smile and beautiful face. He pulled off a resort look stylishly with comfort. BANG YE DAM, the talented vocalist, leaned on a colorful tube with a relaxed face. He posed naturally while playing in the sand beach.
DOYOUNG transformed into a marine boy by wearing a navy-colored beret. His mischievous face matched with a blue t-shirt and white pants added freshness.
HARUTO made model-like poses with his attractive physique. His fashion matching jeans with a V-neck shirt with a scarf grabbed the viewers’ attention.
PARK JEONG WOO, who has charming beagle-like beauty, added energy with good feelings while sticking out his sweet ice cream. The youngest member SO JUNG HWAN tied his striped t-shirt to his shoulder, completing a sophisticated marine look. His fresh smile resembled the wide and clear ocean.

TREASURE on the Sandy Beach… Reveals Full Profile Photo Series

[동아닷컴=전효진 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE revealed their fresh and jolly charms on the sandy beach with the blue ocean.
On April 29 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded the ‘TREASURE EDITORIAL vol.8’ profile photo series through their official blog.
The photos were shot in Bali last year. The 12 members of TREASURE led a bright mood under the warm sunlight, taking lively and natural cuts.
A scene of MASHIHO and DOYOUNG creating a sandcastle on the sandy beach while having a good time was spotted. JIHOON and SO JUNG HWAN revealed their bright smile while standing with the open sea and sky as the background. JIHOON, the mood maker of TREASURE, carried the youngest member SO JUNG HWAN on his back and walked the beach, revealing their bright energy.
CHOI HYUN SUK, ASAHI, HARUTO, and YOON JAE HYUK made the beach of Bali shine with their romance comic character-like visuals. They looked sophisticated and comfortable in resort looks and made the fans’ hearts flutter by staring at the camera while lying in the sunbed.

TREASURE Reveals Behind Film of Shooting in Bali… Energy of Youth That Resembles the Blue Sky·Ocean

[OSEN=지민경 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE emitted their charms of youth in the beautiful scenery of Bali.
On April 30 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment revealed the behind film of ‘TREASURE EDITORIAL vol.8’ through their official blog and social media account.
The behind film was produced in a vertical cam format of making video calls and messages. Emojis explaining each scene were added along with the increasing number of hearts, making the video format as if it was from a social media site.
In the video, JIHOON and SO JUNG HWAN revealed their ‘handsome beauty’ while putting flowers on top of their ears. MASHIHO and DOYOUNG took a slide, making the fans smile through their innocent charms.
While watching the ocean, HARUTO was surprised by SO JUNG HWAN’s prank, and SO JUNG HWAN responded with laughter. The members played with each other and smiled, revealing their tight teamwork even in Bali.
The members then walked in a single line. The scene was expressed with an emoji of 12 people walking, making the profile shooting scene look even more exciting.

Episode 16: Athletics, Part I

“YOSHI of Light→BANGhopper”… YG’s Rookie Group TREASURE Holds a Sportsfest Full of ‘Excitement’

[OSEN=연휘선 기자] Members of YG’s rookie group TREASURE presented big fun for the viewers through their sportsfest of rivalry.
On May 1 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded episode 16 of ‘TREASURE MAP’ through their official blog and TREASURE’s official YouTube channel.
The video presented the first sportsfest of TREASURE, the ‘TREASURE Athletic Championship’. The members desired to win, and the individual matches began with BANG YE DAM’s pledge.
The event began with the standing long jump. The eldest member CHOI HYUN SUK flew lightly but fell behind as if he jumped, while DOYOUNG and PARK JEONG WOO also stumbled and fell, making everyone burst into laughter. MASHIHO, who looked unusual as he warmed up, showed his amazing talent and won 1st place. YOSHI who claimed to be the ‘dark horse’ also performed well. HARUTO also jumped lightly and earned the nickname ‘grasshopper’, and won second and third place, respectively.
Unexpected results came through during the flexibility test. BANG YE DAM and SO JUNG HWAN received high scores at an instant by spreading out their arms. PARK JEONG WOO who showed strong confidence won first place by leaning his flexible body and earned the nickname ‘folding phone’ from the members, making the viewers burst into laughter.
Meanwhile, YOON JAE HYUK who was frustrated that “Everyone performs well except for me”, could not even reach the starting point with his hands, making everyone laugh. HARUTO also recorded a negative figure even with his tall height and long legs, while JUNKYU screamed “Argh” as if his muscles were strained when he pulled out his arms, making the viewers burst into laughter.
The ‘sweet chemistry’ among the members happened during sit ups, making the event look like a sports drama. JIHOON and JUNKYU showed will by going up and down dynamically, while CHOI HYUN SUK sang a sweet song for them. HARUTO and PARK JEONG WOO, the one of the best athletes of the team, showed their passion with their fast moves.
YOSHI and BANG YE DAM put up a close race during the 50m race, becoming the ‘YOSHI of light’ and ‘BANGhopper’. SO JUNG HWAN, the youngest member, was ranked at no. 1 and no. 2 on the sit ups and race, reaching the highest accumulated score on the individual matches of TREASURE Athletic Championship.
After completing the individual matches, TREASURE noticed a team match on the second episode which will be uploaded next week, making the viewers look forward to it. The cookie clip showed the members competing for the cheering prize, raising curiosities on the next episode of ‘TREASURE MAP’.
‘TREASUARE MAP’ is a video content containing the story of 12 creators heading toward the subscribers’ hearts(TREASURE). While currently on their full-scale debut project, TREASURE is communicating with the global fans through various contents in addition to ‘TREASURE MAP’, including ‘TMI’, ‘A 3 Minute TREASURE’, and ‘Fact Check’.
