YG TREASURE’s Honey-Like Sweet Chemistry… Reveals Editorial Behind Film

​

[OSEN=선미경 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE revealed their honey-like sweet chemistry through their profile photos.
On March 5 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded the profile photos from the ‘TREASURE EDITORIAL vol.5’ through their official blog.
TREASURE is sequentially posting individual and group photos starting from January, while their latest series grabbed the fans’ attention through its combination of members that have not been previously released.
First of all, CHOI HYUN SUK and JUNKYU shot photos as a group. Rapper CHOI HYUN SUK presented street fashion in white, while vocalist JUNKYU wore a green colored shirt. The two members have previously teamed up as team A during ‘YG TREASURE BOX’.
The combination of JIHOON, YOSHI, and DOYOUNG was also fresh. The three members presented a united look by matching a crewneck t-shirt with jeans, while also making their individual charms stand out using different items. JIHOON and DOYOUNG are vocalists of the group, while YOSHI is one of the rappers.

MASHIHO and ASAHI grabbed the fans’ hearts with his soft eyes. After beginning their training period in YG Entertainment’s Japan headquarters, they were selected as members of TREASURE after going through a fierce competition on ‘YG TREASURE BOX’.
YOON JAE HYUK, BANG YE DAM, and PARK JEONG WOO presented a boyish mood in addition to their charismatic facial expressions, which made the fans’ hearts flutter. All three members are vocalists of the group.
HARUTO and SO JUNG HWAN, the ‘youngest line’ of the group, also showed off their spectacular visuals. SO JUNG HWAN mixed green and cream in his outfit, while HARUTO wore a striped crewneck t-shirt with jeans. HARUTO and SO JUNG HWAN are known as a vocalist and as a rapper, respectively.

A behind film which presented the profile photo shooting scene was also revealed through social media. The members of TREASURE walked together and focused on shooting their profile photos, which came out splendid after sensible editing.
While currently on their full-scale debut project which began this year, TREASURE is communicating with their fans not only through their profile photo series, but also through ‘TREASURE MAP’ which covers the story of 12 members heading towards the subscribers’ hearts(treasure) and ‘TMI’ which covers the behind stories of the group’s official schedules.

YG’s Rookie Group TREASURE Presents ‘Beagle-Like Charms’ as 12 Members in Full… ‘Draws Attention’ Through Their Iksan Tour

[OSEN=연휘선 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE made another unforgettable memory. The 12 members went on a trip together, showing off their tight friendship and presenting their joyous chemistry.
On March 6 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment revealed episode 8 of ‘TREASURE MAP’ through their official blog and TREASURE’s official YouTube channel. The video showed TREASURE going on a day trip to Iksan, which is PARK JEONG WOO and SO JUNG HWAN’s hometown.
The members presented their beagle-like charms from the start of their tour. The eldest member CHOI HYUN SUK could not hide his excitement on taking the KTX for the first time of his life, while mood-maker JIHOON kept on telling jokes to the other members that meals will be served.
After arriving in Iksan, PARK JEONG WOO and SO JUNG HWAN became daily tour guides. They focused on their roles as tour guides while wearing a mic and waving flags, while the elder members made active reactions while laughing as if they thought the two younger members were cute.
Members JIHOON, JUNKYU, MASHIHO, DOYOUNG, and HARUTO became team ‘JUNG HWAN Tour’. The team visited the art center located in the Culture and Art Street. The members took photos in various poses in the photo zone and revealed their charms by performing a theatre of situations and exploded their excitement by taking a video with the MV filming concept of ‘Going Crazy’, which is the signal song of ‘YG TREASURE BOX’.
CHOI HYUN SUK, YOSHI, YOON JAE HYUK, ASAHI, and BANG YE DAM visited a famous restaurant under the guidance of PARK JEONG WOO. YOON JAE HYUK could not hide his excitement when he explained how to properly taste beef tartare bibimbap to the members, while YOSHI found joy as he tasted soondae for the first time of his life.
The two teams also presented a surprise fashion show, adding joy to their journey. Team ‘JUNG HWAN Tour’ wore school uniforms from the 70s while presenting their spectacular visuals, allowing them to become the ‘Iksan Newtro Boys’. Team ‘JEONG WOO Tour’ also perfectly matched retro fashion with clothes they’ve shopped from an apparel store located in Iksan, which made the viewers burst into laughter.
TREASURE made unforgettable memories with the members while visiting tourist attractions of the area. After arriving in Mireuksaji Stone Pagoda after listening to PARK JEONG WOO’s detailed explanations, the members reminded themselves the purpose of the trip after realizing that the pagoda restoration period was the same as the YG TREASURE BOX filming period. Team JUNG HWAN also made precious memories while feeding the animals after visiting an animal farm.
As the final schedule, all members of TREASURE gathered at a roller-skating rink and performed a relay race, which presented the group’s fantastic chemistry. The members did not give up although they’ve slipped and fell since they were unfamiliar with roller-skating, while DOYOUNG with experience took good care of the members, creating a heartwarming scene.
While currently on their full-scale debut project this year, TREASURE is communicating with the global fans through various contents including ‘TREASURE MAP’ which covers the story of 12 members heading towards the subscribers’ hearts(treasure), in addition to ‘TMI’ which covers the behind stories of TREASURE’s official schedules.

YG’s Rookie Group TREASURE Present Their ‘Variety Gem’ Like Aspects Through Joy+Liveliness+Cuteness… 12 Members Full of Charms

[OSEN=김은애 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE is not only presenting their capabilities and charms as artists on stage, but is also showing potential as ‘variety gems’.
On March 13, YG Entertainment uploaded episode 9 of ‘TREASURE MAP’ through their official blog and TREASURE’s official YouTube channel.
The episode showed the members testing their reactions, wit, and team chemistry to prepare for the harsh variety world.
As a warmup, TREASURE began playing a ‘taste mafia’ game. It was sort of a mafia game modeling people with and without certain information.
A cup containing cotton candy was handed out to the members who could not see due to having their eyes covered with an eye patch, while they made the people burst into laughter by beginning to touch the cup in fear. SO JUNG HWAN, the youngest member of the team, revealed his whimsical charms by asking, “Is it an octopus?”, and smiled as if he was at ease after having a taste.
The members’ lovely mood while guessing and fooling each other was the point to watch for.
DOYOUNG, who took the role as a mafia, kept on putting the empty cup into his mouth, while JUNKYU also pretended to eat while wearing an eye patch in the shape of a rabbit, which revealed his cuteness. The eldest member CHOI HYUN SUK also responded with a V pose on the members’ request to perform a “pretty action”, while making the viewers smile with his eye smile.
On the main game, ‘Speak with your body’, the members of TREASURE revealed their variety senses through their explosive talents and excitements. JUNKYU expressed words by performing a power dance with his entire body, while ASAHI performed a master expression act. JIHOON reacted quickly to the members’ actions and answered the correct answers with his senses.
The members’ passion continued until the final game, ‘Shouting in silence’. YOON JAE HYUK and BANG YE DAM kept on shouting wrong answers since they could not understand the keyword, but did lot lose their concentration which made the corner interesting to watch.

On March 16 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded ‘TREASURE EDITORIAL vol.6’, the profile photos of CHOI HYUN SUK, JIHOON, YOSHI, JUNKYU, MASHIHO, and YOON JAE HYUN, through their official blog and TREASURE’s social media channels.
TREASURE presented fresh looks to match the upcoming spring on their latest profile photos. The photos utilizing natural lighting presented a soft yet delicate mood, expressing the colors of TREASURE in a different way.
CHOI HYUN SUK, the eldest member of TREASURE, wore accessories including a ring necklace and earrings to spice things up. The profile photos allowed the viewers to peek into CHOI HYUN SUK’s fashion senses. JIHOON, YOSHI, and JUNKYU, members of the same age, grabbed the viewers’ attention with their seductive mood.

JIHOON has previously made the fans smile by taking good care of the members on ‘TREASURE MAP’. YOSHI was loved with his cuteness as he collaborated with the members, while JUNKYU made the fans smile with his pure yet whimsical charms.

YG’s Rookie Group TREASURE, the 12 Treasures Flowers Bloomed on a Desolate Field

[동아닷컴=이슬비 기자] The sixth official profile images of the 12 members of TREASURE, currently receiving the spotlight as YG’s rookie boy group, have been revealed.
On March 18 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded the group cut of the ‘TREASURE EDITORIAL vol.6’ through their official blog(www.yg-life.com). The members of TREASURE wore outfits with white and blue tone points while standing on a desolate field. The fresh charms of the members were spotlighted under the warm sunlight, which grabbed the viewers’ attention.
The members’ charms as individuals also stood out as much as they did as a group. The members revealed their teenage and freewheeling charms with facial expressions and poses that emphasized their soft charisma. TREASURE, composed of members CHOI HYUN SUK, JIHOON, YOSHI, JUNKYU, MASHIHO, YOON JAE HYUK, ASAHI, BANG YE DAM, DOYOUNG, HARUTO, PARK JEONG WOO, and SO JUNG HWAN, were born through YG’s rookie debut project program titled ‘YG TREASURE BOX’.

YG’s Rookie Group TREASURE Reveal Teasers of Self-Composed Songs… Ears in Delight with Their Perfect Chemistry

[엑스포츠뉴스=이덕행 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE passionately working on creating music has been revealed. Some songs written by the members of TREASURE themselves have been revealed as well, pleasing the eyes and ears of fans.
On March 19 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment revealed ‘A 3 Minute TREASURE – Working on Music’ though their official blog and TREASURE’s official social media account.
The video showed members ASAHI, who’s shown great talent in song composition, and MASHIHO who’s known for his ‘great vocal tone’, recording a guide song. The two members gathered in the studio to create their self-written track, ‘Fantasy’(working title).
The song contains one’s reminiscence towards a past lover, which one can only see in their fantasy. It is a Ballad song in medium tempo, composed by ASAHI and co-written by ASAHI and HARUTO.
Prior to recording the song, ASAHI went up to MASHIHO, adjusted the mic, and checked the sound, showing his kindness. After the preparation was done, the members sincerely began recording the guide vocals.
As the two members have worked together for a very long time, they presented a ‘perfect chemistry’ by understanding each other through facial expressions and body language without even talking. Their passion towards music was felt by the viewers since they concentrated on working until both members were satisfied.
Songs composed by ASAHI other than ‘Fantasy’ were revealed as well, which made the viewers prick up their ears. The teased songs include ‘I Didn’t Know’(working title) sung by HARUTO and MASHIHO, known for their great low tone and soft vocals respectively, in addition to ‘SKYPIEA’(working title), written and sung by YOSHI.
TREASURE’s aspects as artists were presented as they let go of their beagle-like charms they’ve shown through reality programs for a while and sincerely focused on creating music. It showed the members’ musical talents and infinite possibilities which transcends genres.
On January, YG Entertainment officially announced TREASURE’s debut project and revealed, “Songs composed and written by the members themselves received favorable reviews within the agency. We will encourage and support the members so that they can actively participate in writing and composing songs”.
The members of TREASURE are currently showing endless passion in creating music, even during their hobby time. The short 3-minute clip was enough for the viewers to witness TREASURE’s improved musical capabilities. The fans’ expectations on TREASURE’s musical color and future works as producers they will show after making official debut have gotten even higher.
