This for me is already blatant favoritism but what's new with YG lol. Don't get me wrong I do like Yedam since back when he sang that Shawn Mendes song in Stray Kids's survival show, so it was a given that he'd get a solo sooner or late, but never in the world would I expected for him to get a solo before the group debuts. I just hope they give the others other opportunities as well instead of letting them stay in Yedam's shadow if his solo will do really really well.

It's not favoritism (I'm talking about within Treasure here). It's courtesy to Yedam fans who have been around since 2012 and have been waiting for him and still support him.

I remember when they debuted Lee Hi in 2012. She was rawer than a freshly cracked egg in the '1, 2, 3, 4' MV and they still let her debut with it. The big wigs at YG just loved the sound of '1, 2, 3, 4' so much they had to promote it.

I do feel bad for Blinks. YG treats their boy group headlining member's (GD, Taeyang, Seungyoon, Mino, in the past Bobby, Yedam) fans relatively well. There is definitely favoritism towards boy group fans.

Oh I didn't know he participated in K-Pop Star. But it's just weird for them to wait exactly as long as to debut Treasure for him to get his solo instead of earlier. And especially since it's been since 2012. He could've gotten his solo debut within the past 3-4 years. Yeah, with a young age, but idols debuting these days aren't far off from being 14/15/16 years old.
