Starting from 2007, more than 20 human feet in tennis shoes have been washed up on shore in areas along the Salish Sea, in the areas between Seattle and Vancouver. The feet would wash up Individually. For years people were stumped as to the origin of these feet. After various tests, scientists began to believe that it was a combination of environmental factors, prominent factors being the buoyant nature of modern shoes, animals present in the sea, the shape of the sea, and prevailing winds. The dna tests were found to link back to a variety of people that went missing, people who were in accidents, and people who had committed suicide.
